69 hurst hood
Yes, it's simply a metal 442/Cutlass S hood with a hole cut out under the bolt-on scoop. The hole is actually rather roughly cut. There are four drilled holes in the corners connected by sawn straight sections to make a crude rectangular hole. It ain't pretty.
Thanks
Do you have the size of the rectangle and any reference distances from any spots on the hood. Aslo if anyone else has any info or pictures of the cutout that would be great. Thanks

Here are a few pictures to help you out with the placement. If I remember the very rear tip of the scoop (on top of the hood) is 19" from the rear of the hood chrome. And the cut out is 5-1/2" wide by 6" long. It is a rought cut out with drilled holes at each corner like Joe said. Hope this helps you.
Thanks
I had another hurst owner tell me that it was a 6" x 6" square hole. and the 6" was centered in the hood and 21" from the back of the hood. Thanks for the picture that helps alot. if someone else has any location or sizes let me know. Maybe cutting 900 plus holes they were a little crude in layout and cutting.
They look like 4 holes were drilled in the corners then the cut was made.
My drawing says 5 3/4" wide 6" deep
25 1/8" from side of hole to side edge of hood
25" from front of hole to edge of relief under hood.
