1988 Hurst Olds

Was there any documents that could verify the 88 Cutlass that was built into the H/O? Did it go to the dealership or directly to the person that ordered the car?

There were 2 cars (I believe it was) that were modified by Doc Watson and called H/Os (or H/O commemoratives) by him. He then sold kits mail order that included an aero package, a rear deck lip spoiler, and I think a hood scoop plus some simple decals. I heard he made a couple hundred of these original kits (I bought one from him back then for an '82 I was building). The original kit was fiberglass. At some point, the pieces were released in a more flexible material and some more of them were sold by someone else.

Don't forget the dash plaque! When I bought some original H/O emblems from Hurst in 1994 when they were clearing out the stock, they sent me an 88 dash plaque as a freebie.
