1969 H/O valve covers - who needs???

I know multiple members had previously mentioned they wanted the chrome 69 H/O valve covers off the W-30. I replaced them with the original style blue that Oldspackrat had for me before selling the car. (Thanks again!)

So if these can be of help to anyone here who is restoring or just wants an extra set, I just wanted to give you all a heads up that I will be posting them in the for sale area of the site on Friday.

Feel free to discuss pricing below also, as I don't have a real good idea as to what these should go for. Basically market price minus 25% for our good ClassicOlds members is what I'm considering fair. But I just don't know what market pricing is for sure. Thanks!

I wish I'd known. I dropped my H/O valve covers off for chrome at Spring Carlisle. It isn't going to be cheap!

But you did know...just that it is hard to keep track of things when you have 25k+ posts and countless private messages.

Yeah, but unfortunately I didn't really know how bad my originals were until I pulled them off and took them in for plating. The plating shop hasn't called back to say they are in too poor condition, so I think I'm good to go.

Well I'm sure they'll turn out great. Just took lunch to wash off the f-85 and thought of you when I was rinsing off the wheels. Are you sure you don't have room in your stable for this??? Could toss in those valve covers, a new harbor freight trans jack still in the box, and a set of these used once:

Just was contacted by someone via PM regarding these covers. Sorry, but they are no longer available as I had another member PM me about them days ago and they are going to a new home soon.
