1969 H/O rear brake drums

I need some help. I have a 69 H/O a survivor, when I got it and still does has the fins on the rear brake drums. I was told that all the 69's came with the bell shaped drum. I called the person I bought it from (original owner) and asked him if they were replaced, he said no. The date code on 1 is 120 and my car was built the 3rd week of May. Has anyone seen any other 69 H/O that had the brake drums with the fins on them. Any help is always appreciated

Thank you Tru-Blue
Yes I would be interested in them. The only thing is the date codes would have to be between 45 and 120. The reason being my car just went through vintage Certification at the MCACN show in Chicago. The date codes have to fall with in the time frame that the H/O's were made or they won't do me any good.
Best regards
Guy

They would be right at the outer edge on the face where the casting number is the number would be cast in.

I must be looking in the wrong spot. All I could find was the Centerfuse stamp and I guess the part #, 35454 on all of them.
Some had a K, M, L and a 7 circled stamp.

I just took a rear drum off my "65" and looked for a date code, and I found the same as you, maybe the bell shaped drums did not come with a date code!!!!!!! If you are willing to sell two that still have some meat on them I'll buy them from you let me know.
Thank you
Guy

Thank you for the come back. I was going nuts and I never really considered myself real bright anyway. So back to my original question has anyone out there seen a 69 H/O with original factory installed finned rear brake drums?

The O axle, Only came with the bell drums from the factory. 68-70. I have never had nor seen one factory with the cast finned drums. I will say this for original owners(My Father being one of them with my 68 442) They Can't remember #$&^. these cars were just that back then "JUST CARS".
