I do like the whole top of the car in black. Sure would like to have that parked in my garage. Whoever stretched that top knew what they were doin.
The white gut car next to it is unusual. Don't think I've ever seen one with a white gut.

Took me a minute to figure out what you meant by guts. Guts?... White interior. I get it now. Is that from the factory white interior?
That ragtop is Badass. Just sick. I too love the black hood.
Thanks for posting those. 👍

The white interior was special order, car has been featured before and documented I believe. May have been changed over at Demmer. The convertible is owned by Joe Spagnoli and I think he owns the white interior car also. He bought the convertible off eBay, was sitting in the weeds in Indiana, people didn't know what they had.

the DEMMER car was originally a gold 4-speed 442 - a "pilot H/O" would be a more accurate description (VS. #1)
the big picture "adult" "executive" muscle "super" car image fit better with the automatic & it wouldn't be an upsell of parts to leave the existing HURST 4-speed shifter
the white interior'd H/O was originally Briggs Cunningham's, I believe the interior was changed at the dealership
