1968 H/O emissions decal....

1968 H/O emissions decal....

QE motor...nobody seems to make one....




I'm thinking there never WAS one specific to a H/O with the 455? Anybody know what the CORRECT emission decal was on these when they were new? Thanks Jim

That is correct. I have never been able to find mention of one anywhere, and in the Jack Watson '68 road test video there is none present.

I never thought about that. Interesting. I checked my picture collection a bit ago, and Sam's '68 from the original owner doesn't have anything on it.

All I have on mine is residue of what I believe was the OAI warning sticker and a champion spark plugs sticker.

I was perusing the H/O production parts list tonight, and discovered the attached... the emissions decal was labeled as "DELETE". I remembered this thread, so I figured I'd share. Wonder how Olds got away with that one.

Mine did have "QE" in chalk behind the A/C box though....
