1960 Olds Dynamic 88

Hi guys,

I'm new here and I'm approaching what I hope are my final stages of a classic Olds restoration. I am missing a few exterior trims pieces and I have SCOURED the internet to no avail so far. I will attach a few pics, but what I'm missing are the two passenger front exterior trim mouldings, and reverse light chrome bezels and brackets only. Summit, USA Olds part catalogues, DVAP, all of the big places that I have called upon have either not reached back to me, or not had the part listed. What do you guys think?! Any help or direction would be much appreciated, I think I need a wingman or two to help me get this baby to 100%. Thanks in advance guys.

I haven't really looked into finding a replacement interior window crank, but the splines in mine are worn out and no longer grip. Help here too would be appreciated.

I think this is not surprising. To my knowledge, no one has ever made reproduction body and trim parts for full-size Oldsmobiles of any year. Anything you need will have to be either NOS that you find on ebay or something like that, or good used from a donor car. That usually means something from a southwestern or western junkyard.

Your car looks very nice.

Chevy window cranks are the same. Get a couple of Impala catalogs, (Bob's Impala"s, H&H, Eckler's etc.)

1960 Olds side trim

I have had 7 of these Oldsmobiles, currently have a 98 2 dr. hardtop. I have a lot of 4 door side trim. I know I have a straight dent free front fender and maybe have both sides, I can check. If you would like to call me my name is Paul and the number here in Calif. is 818-897-4141, you can call during the day as I am retired. A little information is that the back up chrome housings are the same as a 1959 88.
