Yes fiberglass OAI was made by someone in the aftermarket business.I believe a guy named Dr.Oldmobile was making them for a while and yes that's without a s in the name.

It's on ebay at 2,025.00 has not met reserve. First glance looks great. But lots of pics but neglects important details, claims to have an original fuel bowl but cann't prove it by his pic he listed. Also carbs held in place with nuts and studs instead of bolts and some odd carb tags.

This is all stuff I inherited , I have been going off what so called experts are telling me and notes left to me. I can take more pictures for people if they want . I am leaving it for people to make there own judgement call . Otherwise I will just keep it and eventually use it sometime

Take some more time to think about it, I'm refering to the very same one that axle74 posted the pic of. Look and you'll see the pic in the box on the ebay offering.

I am not trying to defraud anybody, I really don't know what this stuff is as I said before I am going off of notes left to me and others who have looked at some of the parts. I figured somebody could use the stuff but it might be easier to just trash all of it

So someone was making the air cleaner hat assembly aftermarket? I'd be interested in one of those.

This was listed today, opening bid seems very fair:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Oldsmobile-4...US_Cars_Trucks

EDIT: I bet someone who needs this stuff loses their nerve and buys it for $5500. Heads, manifolds, pulleys, etc, the parts really add up.

Spoke to that guy when he had it on Craigslist, the saddest part is he had the fuel filter with it and said he threw it out

"....Filter" rang a bell. Nice oil filter too, think I have *ONE* of those, only one I ever had new, found at a garage sale years ago.
