Rallye Data tag photo

Looking a a rallye after getting some photos on the car I noticed the tag doesnt have the - - in the paint code

I've seen them with 51 51 and - - but this is the first one I've seen left blank. I see it has/had a black bench front seat so I am guessing column shifted auto? I see it is also a post car

does this look like a repop hood also I cant se anyone paint the bottom white then frame of it black Yellow on a rallye maybe just to be different but white ?

Yes and NO it should as you pointed out have a bench , It has had buckets and a dual gate put in too .

i dont know the only por i have used was black but why would you do the glass part in por ?

It's an 01A build date. Perhaps the guy responsible for the data tag was still hung over from New Year's Eve parties?

OK Would that date put it out of the wheel house for a true Rallye 350 ?

No but the only way to truly tell is via original paperwork which I am guessing the seller has none

I believe so.
The R350 was introduced to the public on Feb 18th at the Chicago Auto Show. Reports have production as early as 2nd week in January. I have a production report that will show that, but I don't (yet) have the January page that has the W45 on it. The GM Heritage Center has it, and I plan to get that the next time I am there.
