I have a 69 VC with a 5.7 rocket, with AC. Ive found a copper/brass for $370 + not a bad price. Problem is according to jpegs, these fit delta 88/98, yet all the measurements are spot on with my original Rad. Is there something I missed here’s a couple pics. Correct me if I’m wrong all A body frame oldsmobiles mechanical parts are interchangeable, except for body panels and interiors. Any help appreciated.
Good morning, you may have good reasons for not doing so, have you taken your original radiator to a radiator shop where they can pressure test it, dip it and clean/restore it - assuming it is OK to do so? Sorry I am not the best person to answer the question you're asking about the JEGS unit. Good luck, David
I’d have to drive about 50 miles to a radiator repair shop, I talked to the owner, he said he doesn’t do recores but does repair radiators if their reparable. I just worry about chasing rabbits fix it, then in a few months a new leak begins

I certainly understand... that's a fair distance. I've had really good results with pressure testing, repairing, cleaning and repainting. I have an old 1949 tractor that I did 30 years ago and no issues with the rad. I also have a '66 that I had repaired, though it has not been on the road for some time. You have to live with your decision and what is available nearby. Best of luck, David
I ordered an aluminum replica, from autocity recommended by another member, every5hing measured correct, except the transmission lines being larger. I’ll have to get a couple of transition fittings.
