"Tubular Headers"

What do people think of tubular headers--basically oversized, rounded exhaust manifolds. Do they "work" as well or similar as other headers? What's the advantages/disadvantages of these?
Thanks

If your going to run headers, full length give the most performance gain. Tubular aren't much better than manifolds. If you want form more than function, go with shorty headers.

No, I want performance. Any recommendations on affordable, good fitting long tube headers?

Your going to have to research if you want a coating or painted. Hedman and hooker are the normal go to's.

Thanks. One more thing. I have found headers online, but then it says "Won't fit Cutlass Supreme." I don't see why the Supreme would be any different from a Cutlass S. Do you know if they're the same?

All headers are "tubular". I ASSUME you are actually referring to tubular exhaust manifolds, like those recently released by an otherwise well-respected Olds repro parts vendor?

Let's just say that this particular product has been disparaged by many of us here previously. You'll notice the similarity to the ones on the pavement-ripping 307 motors.

Exactamundo, Joe. Those are the ones I was talking about. I will avoid them. Thanks, All.

Be aware that unlike these tubular manifolds, the original W/Z manifolds actually have individual runners inside the casting.
