Harrison radiator code confirmation

Just went up to the attic and looked for my original radiator or at least the one that was in the car when I got it. I ended up finding two radiators. I believe the correct one is on the right with the wider top plate? It also has the fill tank CI on passenger side and the drivers side tank stamped IF which should be correct for a 1970 W30 automatic with AC - should be radiator code EC.

Not sure what the 078?? means either

Look at the date code on the radiator tank.

It's the one on the right.......the one on the L looks like a 3 row. Still, don't toss the one on the L...check the tank codes on it as it looks to have the same tanks. Could be recored to make a correct style 4 row or used on a non-AC car, etc.

Thanks Patton, Just wanted to make sure the one on the right was correct for my application. And yes IIRC the one on the left had a CI tank but I couldn't see any stamp on the drivers side. No way I'll toss it as I know its worth holding onto as a back up or to someone else as the 3-row I thought it was.

Both appear to be 4 row radiators. The radiator on the right that you are referring to has been re-cored and doesn't retain its original upper/ lower channels. The tag that you are referring to is probably the replacement core part number. Look at the passenger side tank and there should be a letter between the "C and I". That would be your date code.

Hmm, so the one on the left could work as well? Or do I make one radiator out of both of them. Tanks from the one on the right and the channels from the one on the left? What I really care most about is that these have the flat filler tube. Drives me crazy opening the hood and seeing the angled fill tube on the present radiator.
