windshield Wiper Wiring

Hi all!

I am putting my 1965 442 back together, I completly replaced all of the wiiring with a Painless kit, so far it has been going smoothly, but I ran into an issue last night. My new wiring harness does not have provisions for the windshield wiper motor, it does have a power lead for the new switch, which is a SO-CAL speed show billet switch which has tabs for Power, High, Low & Park. So basically I will have three wires coming off the switch that I will make a harness to run to the wiper motor, the wiper motor has 2 sets of prongs for wiring, a 3 prong, and a 2 prong below it. Any idea how to wire this properly?

I'm not sure you can with that switch. The factory wiper motor uses a shunt wiring scheme, where there is a shunt winding in the motor that's wound backwards from the high speed winding. To get low speed, the factory switch powers both the high speed and the shunt windings at the same time. For park, only the shunt winding is powered, which runs the motor backwards. Without knowing the internal connections of that aftermarket switch, it isn't clear if it will connect the windings properly.
