Wheel cover problem

Can anyone give me an idea how to remove this type cover without damage. I've tried to pry it off with a screw driver but I don't want to bend it. Would like to take them off for a good/easy polish job. Wife is complaining that sitting on the floor and polishing them is back-breaking and tedious!!! Gotta please the wife!!

Looks like it just pries off like any other hub cap. It may be tight and you may scratch the paint on the rim where they are wedged on.

hubcap removal

this is a good time to a) convince your wife you need a lift in your garage b)try a new wife c)instead of prying with screwdriver try twisting or maybe a jack handle instead.

You can go to home Harbor Freight or some place like that and get a set of pry bars, they look like a screw driver with bent head and a much wider point. If not in a hurry I'd look on EBAY for a real hub cap tool, it has a really big pry surface and a rubber pallet on the other side for putting them back on.

I think they are bolted on by the lug nuts. Center hub cap should come off and expose the lug nuts.
