tire conversion chart
Do any of you guys know if there is a chart on this site showing the old lettered sizes verses the newer metric sizes? I'm trying to figure out which speedo gear is correct for a car with 2.56:1 gearing, a 350 tranny, and 275/60/15 tires. The output shaft has a green gear 8 tooth I believe and the driven gear is a brown 39 tooth. When the car is traveling at 60mph as proven with an accompanying car with a digital dash the speedo only reads about 55 mph. Sorry for the long winded story here, sometimes I ramble.
