I am struggling to find the right timing for my V8-BB / 350hk engine
the engine is running to hot and is hard to start even when the engine is hot ,,
What should to timing be !!!!! with the vacuum hose disconnected and the engine idling !!!! I mean what should I adjust it to !!!!!

When the engine is hot, retard the timing until it cranks easily and that's where it belongs. Let us presume that there are no major problems with the engine.

I'm sorry but we have no idea what that is. How about starting with the year and model, as well as the exact engine size, carb type, etc.
