Are 68-72 monte carlo, grand prix, and Riviera's considered A-bodies? Do their steering columns interchange with 442's of the same years? Thanks

 

The 1968 Grand Prix is a full size (B-body)

The 1969-72 Grand Prix and 1970-73 Monte were originally called G-body cars, then later A-special cars. Either way, the columns interchange with all other A-body cars of the same year. Keep in mind that 68 A-body is different due to the ignition on the dash. The Monte and GP have a longer wheel base and thus unique frames, but everything else is A-body. The wheelbase difference is actually between the front wheels and the firewall, so it doesn't even add legroom, only front fender length. The intermediate steering shaft from the bottom of the column to the steering box will be unique.

The Riviera is an E-body like the Toro (yes, even though it was RWD).
