Steel wheel

Hi, I just picked up a 14x6 steel wheel with the code XC stamped near the valve stem hole. It came off a 65 Cutlass wagon. Weren't the wagons suppose to have a R code designation? Or could this been a spare tire wheel?

XC was a 14x5 wheel that came on Chevy wagons. Is it a XG by chance, then it would be a 14x6. That wheel is from a Chevy with Disc brakes.

It's a XC wheel, all the other ones were the R code wheels. Obviously somewhere in its history it got switched. It appeared to be a 14x6 wheel though.

Are you measuring the outside to outside, or bead seat to bead seat?

Actually I have not measured it yet. I just assumed it was a 6 inch wheel since it came off a wagon. I'll measure it to clarify. Thanks for the info!
