Any ideas what these sport mirrors are correct for? Thanks!

Without holding them up to a door I can't say for sure what they would fit. I've got a box full of these mirrors too. I do see a date stamp on the glass of the pass side mirror, that will at least get you to the original application year. John

The date code on RH glass is 5DMI6 and LH glass is 7DMI4, I believe they were from a cutlass? They also have studs for mounting.

Its hard to tell but they do look like '71 and later Olds mirrors which I also believe are the same as 71 and later firebird mirrors.

F-bodies used the same heads but different uprights.

With those studs those are either 73-77 a-body or 78 and up g-body. The 71/72 Cutlass and 70-81 f-body mirrors use a bracket that mounts to the door and a screw through the base that hold the mirror to the bracket. I've had the 71/72 Cutlass mirror and a 70-81 F-body mirrors in my hands at the same time. The only difference was in the base gasket. One was flat and one was fatter on one side to slightly change the angle of the mirror. The 76 and up f-body passenger side mirrors also have "Objects in the mirror are closer then they appear" text and convex glass. Which isn't correct for the cutlass but it is a nice convenience.

I know I pulled several sets of these mirrors off various cars in my favorite wrecking yard before they closed 10 years ago. I'm pretty sure some of the bases are different and its more than just the gaskets. John

The Parts Place list the same part number for repro mirrors for both the 71/72 Cutlass 442 as the 70-81 Camaro/Firebird.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/1970-81-GM-...AAAOSwXMBaj2pL

They also list different part numbers for the gaskets. The flat one is for the Cutlass and it's the same part for left or right.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/1971-72-Old...kAAOSwqBJXUNcO

The Camaro/Firebird one is angled so they are different parts for left and right.

Now the 70-72 Chevelle mirrors do use the same bracket and head but they do have different base, and the part is different.

Well, I'll have to dig out the ones I have and measure them maybe take some pictures. I know I've pulled the bullet shaped mirrors that look like 1971-72 Cutlass off several different mid-70's cars. For sure I've got sets off a Vega, Firebird, Buick GS, Omega (1974 & a later like the Chevy Monza body). It seemed to me like there was a lot of variation in the base length and angle where it fit against the door. But I'm not an expert, I need to dig them out and actually note what the differences are. Some days my memory actually is working! Here's a link to a Buick page that talks about the different sport mirrors. John

So according to the Parts Place:

The 70-72 Skylark/GS, Lemans/GTO 71-72 Cutlass/442 and 70-81 Camaro/Firebird use the same mirror and base.

The 70-72 Chevelle use the same mirror with a different base

The 71/72 Cutlass use different gasket the the 70-81 Camaro/Firebird.

They don't list Parts for the gasket for the other 70-72 A-Body cars but the link above shows the Buick uses a similar wedge gasket to the F-body mirrors. I would guess that they are all slightly different to accommodate for the different body styles, but I'm not 100% sure about that, they might be the same.
