My friend, trying to be helpful but being an idiot, messed up the left front dust cap with the speedometer cable gear in my 1969 Olds 98. I am completely lost as to how to find this part or if the one I have can be fixed.

Any suggestions?

 

Can you post some pictures? Is the outside badly dented or is the fitting inside the dust cover damaged? We need more info before we can comment on it.
