Rear tires

Just wondering how big a tire I can stuff inti the well on the rear of my 70 hdtp 442. In the past Iv'e had 275/60/15s on 15by8s but was thinking more like 15by10s with a 295/70. If anyones got any input or pics It would help.Thanks...Tony...

yes, a good FAQ tire size section would be nice..lol I would also like to know, but also some good backspacing numbers would be great also.
