Plastic "type" for 1970 442 Inner Fenderwells??
I am making some repairs to cracked and damaged OEM Plastic inner Fenderwells in my 1970 442. I plan to do some Plastic Welding on them. As I understand, I need to "melt in" Plastic Material that is the "same" type of Plastic, as what the Factory used to originally manufacture these Fenderwells.
Does anyone know the correct "name/type" of the Plastic that the Factory used for these Fenderwells?

I know the fan shroud is polypropylene, I'm guessing so are the fender wells. What company are you using for supplies? I was going to try these guys: https://www.polyvance.com. They have a video of doing a '70 Vista fan shroud: https://www.polyvance.com/vista.php

Just ask any car magazine, they're made of fiber-glass!!!
Sorry! I've heard it called "thermo-plastic", Check out the major builds threads, there were a couple of guys that did a nice job repairing their red ones. I think one of them was the beautiful 70 W30 build that Ap6954 is doing. I think Eric Jensen (jensenracing77) also did some repair work the ones for his awesome W30 a couple years back. Someone even a thread on just restoring the red liners, it doesn't matter if they're red or black the plastic is the same.
