Oil sensor unit question

Hi all ! I just purchased a Rally Pac oil, temp, gas gauge needle style. the car is a 72 cutlass with a 350 4bbl. Can someone point me to the correct oil pressure sensor unit for the engine and the correct water temp sensor if it would be different from the standard unit for the existing idiot light guage. Thanks in advance for your assistance !

Yes, you need to replace the oil and temp sending units. The oil sender is much larger than the idiot light one, which is why there's the special angled extension tube. The aftermarket extensions are hilariously expensive and fragile, so I just get a 1/8"npt nipple and union at the hardware store. Doesn't look stock but also doesn't break.

All of the typical vendors (Fusicks, OPGI, Year One, etc etc etc) sell the senders.

Also be aware that the wiring in the connector that plugs into the gauge cluster needs to be changed slightly from the idiot light configuration.

I also need to confirm the correct sender unit number. I know that it is an 80 OHM unit. And believe the correct part number that would work is #6464408. Hopefully someone here has a correct NOS Oil Pressure sending unit for a 71/72 build year correct AC DELCO numbers on it for cross reference !

Exclamation Oil Pressure sending unit cross reference

So I purchased an NOS oil pressure sending unit on Ebay a few days ago. The listing said it was compatible with me Cutlass's 350 engine that I am installing a rally gas gauge with. I am understanding that the correct unit number is ACDELCO 80 ( 80 OHMs ) #6464408. The unit I purchased is an 80 OHMs but #64600832 - 07094. It looks identical to the correct unit and it is also an ACDELCO. I don't have any way to cross reference the number with the OEM part and just don't trust the compatibility list used on Ebay. Any input would be great ! i'm hoping it will work properly since it wasn't cheap !!!
