Is my car numbers matching?

I found these numbers and so I'm pretty sure the engine is original but I'm not as sure about the trans

Looks like your trans matches too, as long as my assumption that the picture is posted upside down is correct.

so the numbers are stamped upside down?? What year and engine would that be?

Orientation is relative to the beholder (sometimes the blocks were upside down when stamped.)
