Molding identification

Acquired this molding in a box of parts and would really like to get it to someone that can use it....but, having trouble determining what it belongs to. Any help is greatly appreciated. The yard where it came from seemed to have a lot of other Oldsmobile stuff so kind of assuming that it's Oldsmobile. It's right at 46" in length and about 2" wide at one end and tapers to about 1" at the point. There is some slight inward curvature at the point. There are 6 mounting studs attached to a single sliding mounting base. Not even sure if this is fender or quarter molding.Or, if someone can point me to a source of reference, that would even help. I've tried to match it up with molding on eBay but so far, no luck. Thanks!

The mounting studs and long strip they're attached to remind me of the 1954 Olds 88 fender spear. It may be something of that vintage.

Thanks for the reply John. I'll take a look and see if I can match it up!
