kickdown cable th350

I don't have a kick down cable on my 69 Cutlass 330 TH350 and would like info on what steps and parts are needed to put one on. The engine has the stock throttle bracket and throttle cable.

I just went through this myself. I have a 64 that had the 2 speed so i had no kickdown cable to begin with. i went to a salvage yard and got a cable off of a late 60,s olds which i discovered that the kickdown also hooks to the gas pedal through the firewall. Look at the top of your pedal and see if you have 2 hooks. If so you need to fab a square hole in your firewall where the cable goes to the pedal. I bought the pedal and cable all for 5 bucks.

Thanks, I just picked up the cable and now have to install it. My pedal has 2 . I think when the transmission was replaced years ago the shop forgot to put it back on or my buddies and I took it off when we put a shift kit in it to use it as a manual shift. I can't remember , it was a looooooong time ago.
