I have a 60 Olds Dynamic 88. Wheels are 14inch 5 on 5 bolt with 3" center hole. Any other GM fit as I am missing a spare wheel. Also what is correct tire size (todays measurement) I think it was 825/14 in 1960 Thanks
They recommend 235/75 if you're going with radials, but you will not find them cheap. You can still get 8.5 x 14 in bias ply. They are a little cheaper at about $140 and up depending on where you buy them. Not wanting to vary from my original wheels, I put 205/70R14 whitewall radials on my Super. They are the largest 14" mass produced tire I could find and they look great, perform well and cost less than $80 at Discount Tire. The brand is Hankook Mileage Plus II.
By the by, there's a wheel on eBay for $20

Most GM 14 inch wheels are interchangeable with each other.
The old numeric system was used up till 1968, when the coding was changed over to alpha numeric. That only lasted until radials came in. According to Coker Tire your Dynamic 88 would have used 850/14 or 900/14's as new equipment from the factory. The radial replacement size for that would be 225/75/14.

Allan is correct. 225s would be direct replacement for the 8.5s. Coker suggested the 235s for direct replacement of the 9s. 98s or 88s with AC came with 9 x 14s, the 8.5s were standard equipment on 88s.
Just a side note, correct white walls were 1" or 2.25".
