Interior Doors

New to a Oldsmobile, this may be a stupid question, but I have a window crank that needs changing and the handle itself is snapped off. With an AMC the window crank has a screw hole and the handle itself is held on with a screw as well. Do I have to take the whole door panel off to replace both. Thanks for understanding my ignorance.

There is a clip behind the handle if you push in on door panel you should be able to see it. If you have a tool or the like with a hook on the end just grab and pull, I think they make a special tool but I do not think you will need it.

They do make an inexpensive tool for it, but the clip can be removed with a small hook or bent paperclip. Lots of videos on Youtube showing techniques.
