Horn setup behind pad

I have a 1970 Delta 88 with a standard tilt steering wheel and standard horn pad. Having trouble finding a good pic of the set up behind the horn pad. Tech manuals I have are poor quality pdfs.

Could someone send me a pic of whats behind the horn pad? Thanks!

What specifically are you looking for? There really isn't much there except the bolt in the middle, the little tube that holds the spring and contact, and two screw holes. Maybe we can help you without the picture.

Hi Dave! I don't have any give to the horn pad..., in other words it doesn't give me the ability to "push" for the horn. It seems like I'm missing a spacer with a spring or something.
Thanks! Tom

I have the same problem with my 69 delta. Have the shop manual but that part is not illustrated. Illustrations are great down the column.

I'd love to see a pic.

Anyone willing to take off horn pad and take a pic?

It seems we have another with same horn problem. Hoping someone with "standard" horn pad from 69 or 70's Olds 98, Delta 88, Vista Cruiser would be willing to post a picture of setup behind their horn pad...? Horn pad just needs to be pulled off as it is held on with metal clips and easy to put back on.

Thanks! Fletch
