Hood Width

I am wondering what the hood width is for a 68-69, a 70-72 and a 66-67.

I would appreciate guys with the above cars taking a moment to run a tape measure across their hoods and measure the width from fender to fender.

Thanks

If your real question is, will one fit in the back of a full size pickup (not a stepside), the answer is yes, but it will sit on top of the inner wheel wells.

No actually that isnt what I was asking. Looking at interchangeability. I was thinking more of making a glass ram air hood fit my 67. I know the front would have to be reworked but if the width was the same that could be done.

'68-'69 pretty close to 56 1/2 inches. May not be exact but pretty close.
