Hole Size for power window conversion

Hello all,

I need clarification on the two hole sizes I have to drill for converting my 72 Supreme over to power windows. I have checked older threads and have seen 2" and 2 1/2" as well as 1 3/4" and 2 3/38". Can anyone verify the correct size for me. I'm really in need of this info today so I can drill them out prior to paint work that is inching ever so closely which is a good thing.

Thanks,
Dave

Here you go, I'd call it right at 2". I think the holes in the cowl are the same, but I've scrapped the shell that had power windows in it.

LoL, I have the shell but not the doors. The door on this car is not an original door to the car and they hacked the hole in it. The shell side is 2 3/8. (With how I am holding the tape, Don't confuse it and cut it 3 3/8.....)

Thanks Eric! Boy that takes one measurement from both threads I have read. I'm going 2" on the door side and 2 3/8" on the cowl. Anyone want to dispute that let me know soon as I will cut tomorrow.

Thanks Guys,
Dave

I have some rubber boots for the wires and checked them. Even with them I see 2 inch on the door and 2 3/8 on the body.
