Can anyone tell me how to remove the lock on the glove box in a 71 Cutlass?
Mine is loose and will spine completely around!!

 

there is a little hole on the lock mechanism on the inside of the glove door near where the mechanism latches. you insert a pin in there to release it

mdchanic (eric) has posted a pic on here somewhere (search) of the exact location the pic appeared to be from the CSM

Thanks Retro, things work pretty well when you know how. The nut was unscrewed..
