Engine bay light harness location help

Im needing some expert advice from the C.O. group on the placement of this wire harness under the hood on my 1969 442. I cant remember if it screws to the hood under the light housing or another location. A picture of your correctly placed one would be helpful. Its been 20 years since i took it apart. Many thanks.

IIRC, the wire harness pictured screws into the side of the bulb fixture. I think I have a picture of mine from my '71 CS convertible, but I may also have an image form a '69. I'll look.

Your harness may be a little different than mine, but my image shows the orientation. Maybe I can find another image for a '69 - after dinner.

I probably have mine mounted incorrectly. I rebuilt my lamp assembly. Anyway, here is yours - 'VIEW A'.
