The easiest thing to do is to measure your car for a custom-made driveshaft. Raise the car with the suspension at ride height (ie, jack stands under the suspension, or use a four post lift). Push the front yoke all the way into the trans until it bottoms. Pull it out one inch. Now measure center-to-center distance between the front and rear yokes. This is the dimension the shop needs to build a new shaft.
Nobody wants to do it the way Joe described above because of the effort, but it's the right way. New yokes have different lengths than the originals (and can vary), so you don't want to rely on factory data or other people's u-joint center to center lengths. Get the yoke you need, take the measurement, get the shaft made.

They can make you a custom driveshaft with a yoke for a reasonable price. You will need to get the rear end at ride hieght as said above, but from there you can measure from the trans tail shaft yoke seal to the rear u-joint center line or even the rear end pinon seal if you plan to buy a pinion yoke from them as well. They made the 4" aluminum driveshaft for my vista cruiser. I bought front and rear yokes so I measured seal to seal. Very good customer service. If you give them a call they can get you squared away with the proper shaft diameter and material for whatever you are trying to acomplish.
