day/night bevelled mirror 1970 Cutlass

Does anyone sell new bevelled mirrors cut for the reaview mirror for a 1970 Cutlass? I have a map-light mirror that was restored with a flat glass mirror, and I want to take it back to day/night.
I realize I can either buy an old mirror and get the glass resilvered, or get a new reproduction one, take the mirror out and install it in my old map-light unit. It would be easier and cheaper to get just the mirror glass.

Thanks, Peter

Charlie - thanks. I guess I'll buy a new repro day night from Fusik and swap the mirror glass with my map-light unit.

Any tips on how to remove the mirror glass without breaking it?
I was thinking of warming the unit up in an oven to make the retaining flange pliable.
Is the mirror glued in place, and if so how should I deal with that?

Thanks, Peter

Real hot water will soften the dove gray rubber suround and loosen the glue too, at least on original mirrors.

X2 on hot water. I've got several mirror that have the reflective material coming off. I've read about kits to re-silver mirrors but have never taken the time to experiment with it. Anybody out there unemployed and needing something to do??? Just about every mirror I've had was going bad. If someone could come up with a way to redo them at a reasonable cost they might get a lot of business

Peter, I can provide you with the correct beveled glass if you want to have it restored.
