Cruise control speed regulator

The Dana Corp/Perfect Circle speed control regulator on my 77 Cutlass is 554888. Does anyone have a cross reference as to what other regulators will work in place of the 554888?

Well that was a no go. For those of you that have a 77 Cutlass, do you have a regulator with any number OTHER than 554888?

I have one that came out of a 76 Cutlass Salon. Same as for 77 I believe. I wire wheeled it when it came home. Didn't have the Perfect Circle emblem on it though. Here's some pics. Not tested. Sorry the pics are a bit blurry. I can take more if you're interested.

Thanks. I just replaced the 260 in my 77 Cutlass with a 350. The 260 did not have factory cruise, just an aftermarket unit. At this point I have all the parts needed to install factory cruise on the 350. I just don't know if the regulator is operable so I'm looking for regulator numbers that will interchange if mine doesn't work.

Okee dokee, I have an NOS unit in the shed with numbers on it. It's for 73-77. Might be a few days before I get to it though.
