Correct Number Muncie for 65 442

Well, as of this week my, 1965 442 turns 53. Her build date was 03C. I was doing some brake line repair under the car and took the opportunity to check the number on the side of the Muncie unit. The one in the car came from the 68-70 model, it's number is 3925660. My question is what is the correct number for my car that was built in late March? The 3851325 casting 64-65, or the 3885010 casting 65-67? There are a lot of units for sale on CL. Just was wondering which is the correct one, so when I have mine rebuilt, I might just trade in the 68-70 case for the correct one for my car.
Thanks.

64/65 Olds used the 1325 case with the 7/8 counter pin. The 5010 was used in 66/67 and had the 1" pin case. The 64/65 had a driver side speedo and the 66 up used a passenger side speedo.

Great, Thanks for the info. I will see who has a 1325 Muncie available and if they will do a swap for mine + the cost of the rebuild.

Found my Muncie

After looking for the last 4 months, I finally found a correct, recently rebuilt Muncie M20, wide ratio 4 speed for the 65 442. Shifts well and has about 400 miles on the rebuild. Correct case number, driver side speedo and a Nov 19 build date. The 5660 Muncie that is in there now, I finally got working in all gears. Feels like a close ratio box even though the input shaft says it's a M20. It will go in the parts bin for the next project. Thanks for the help in identifying the right one for the 65.
