does anybody know if they build the 1957 98 Convertible at the South Gate Assembly in CA? Where there different factories for different vehicle types or did every factory assembled all types (convertible, 2-door hardtop, sedan...)?

 

If your VIN is 579C then your car was built at South Gate.
