carburetor linkage

I have a silly question--on English vehicle's, does the throttle linkage connect on the left of the carburetor or is it converted to the right?

i have a right hand drive 240Z the linkage is adapted...on the carb its just like any left hand drive

the pedal is extended under the dash and the linkage actually comes out in the same hole as left drive..they just made a diff pedal assy..

depends on how old it is..if its a cable prob no diff..
