A31- Power Side Windows
B85- Chrome Side Window Moldings
C60- Air Conditioning
U75- Power Radio Antenna
345 1 Red Bucket Seat Interior
P A should not be a valid paint code. It would help if you post a legible pic of the tag.

Boy Tag de-coding
Thanks for your help, I thought about a pic but really couldn't get a good shot of it, it is blk and the numbers really didn't show up on the pic that good.
As far as the paint code goes I will look again, I know the car is bright red but not sure what the code is. It ststes on the tag the manufacturer of the paint and that is is acrylic paint.
Again thanks for your help

Looks like your car is a Fremont or Southgate build. The numbers/letters to the left of the word "body" would tell us that. Paint code should be to the left of the word "paint"?
R 1 maybe? R is Target Red, 1 is a White top?

de-coding boy tag
Why do you say it is a Fremont or Southgate build, according to the VIN it was built in New Jersey. Am I missing something here, when I got the car it did not have a vin tag on it and according to the seller after monts of research the vin number was identified and according to that number the car was built in New Jersey. Could you shed more light on this issue.
Thanks,
Thanks,

I see, Linden then. I could tell that it was not Lansing or Kansas City by what you've told me so far. This is why I want to see the whole tag, to take the guesswork out of things.
Okay, so I now see you are the new owner of the S/F missing the VIN tag. Dang, you *have* to tell us, how did you you get the VIN # identified????
And have you been able to register it?

I have looked at the tag again, for some reason I can not find a paint code on the tag, besides what I have already said I found this number 254 right around the word paint, also on lower right corner was the number 23.

Here I am agin message got sent before I was finished, it also indicated that the paint was produced by magic mirror acrylic lacquer.
As far as the missing vin tag goes, when i recived the car from the seller I loked for the vin tag and cxould not locate it, with some research I found out where it should be and I found out it was missing. I called seller right away and indicated tha tthe vin tag was missing and here in Mass no vin tag no registration. I did have the old registration with a vin on it so betwwen myself and the seller we set out to try and confirm that the sold to me was actually as advertised. In our search we found out that the vin number is also stamped in other locations on the car so removing a vin tag doesn't mean that it is not as sold. This is donfro fraud and insurance purposes.
eeventually we did find the number stamped in anothe location on the car and had it confirmed by the local authorities that ir did agree with the registration that was available at time of sale. With this infor another exac tag is bing made and will be sent to me. I bought this car for its uniquness and itf it had been stolen, salvaged or cloned in any way i owuld have returned to seller.
So that is my story, still at a quandry about the paint code.
Thanks for your help, really appreciate it

I'm *very* happy you were finally able to work it out. I worked with Paul to try to help you locate one of the VIN stamps. You *have* to tell me (since neither of you have yet), where did you find one? Firewall was my primary suggestion?
Try to get and post (or send me - wmachine@shubes.net) a pic of the tag. Use a lot of light, take a few pics from a few angles. We'll get your quandry quenched!
