Bell Housing

anyone know if GM painted the bell housings on '72 442 with 350 engine and Muncie 4 speeds? if so what is correct color?

I thought they were on the engine when it was painted and so got "some" overspray in whatever that engine color was. Maybe not for the Toronados. ;-)

X 2 on that usually front of bell had some paint on it but not the rear...
