70-72 W25 Hood

70-72 W25 Hood

Can anyone tell me the length and width of these hood?

The length and width should be the same as a standard flat metal hood. The only difference would be the thickness as the scoops make it taller in that dimension. If you don't have a regular one to measure I can take some measurements for you this weekend.

No worries. I needed a U-haul truck to pick up a nice 71-72 W25 hood that came with a 72 Cutlass W29. I was orginally trying to find out if the hood would fit in a full size pickup truck bed.

It will fit but the width will have it laying on one or both wheel wells or the bed side. Best if one side lays on bed floor and other side lays on top edge of bedside. Wrap it in cardboard and old blankets. Dont forget to tie it down.
