69 cutlass 3 spoke 4 spoke wheel ?

I have a friend who has a 3 spoke GM sport wheel from a 69 or 70 chevelle. Is it the same as the ones used on the hurst olds or w-30's ? I know some did have 3 spokes and some had 4 ? see pic. Also he has a tilt column too I would like to add to my 1969 Cutlass, I know GM is good about making parts fit lots of cars, will the column swap too? and since we're here, my car is floor shift, the chevelle one is on the column, will the collar swap or is it tilt exclusive ? any help would be great !!

thanks

no the H/O's, at least in 69 and i think 68, were plastic wheels. Kinda looks like the wheel that goes in the 70 but someone will chime in i am sure about that.

Nope, The rare deluxe custom sport 3 [N-34] spoke steering wheel didn't have anything to do with the 69 W-30 package or the H/O.Either car could come with the 3 spoke wheel or the "straight bar" steering wheel. Here's a pic for you. The 4 spoke came along in 70

The wheel in the picture will fit any 1969-up GM steering column. This type of wheel was NEVER used by Olds, however. The 1968 three spoke faux woodgrain wheel was essentially this wheel with a woodgrain rim, but the hub is different due to the smaller diameter 1968 column. Note that you will need the horn contact package as used on the 1970-up four spoke wheel.

another thing to watch for...

I have a 69, and I really like the faux grain 3 spoke, as I can not see spending upwards of 7-900 usd for a "legit" 69 3 spoke wheel on my Cutlass S. I just wanted to add that you need to check the diameter, and to some extent the angle of the spokes, those wheels were used in Buick Skyhawks, Chevelles, corvettes etc and some are 14 inch wheels and some are 15, some have a deeper "dish" than others depending on original application, they will all work with the right hub, but might interfere with viewing your gauges etc just saying......
