The color I used is called argent and I got mine in a rattle can. I've heard other people use "flat aluminum" but I've never seen it anywhere.

The headlight housings would be argent silver.

X2 on Krylon 1403 Dull Aluminum.
It's hard to find in stores, I ordered a few cans online when I did my grills.
It's a dead match to the original color and gloss and highly recommended.

X3 (sorry Blue, I did not notice your X2 at first, I can't steal your place in line, by the way I miss seeing your big butt every morning. I didn't change it until about the 6th)

X3 Krylon's Dull Aluminum seemed extremely close to the unfaded/protected areas of my bucket when I repainted them last year.

My black/aluminum lines are not stock but the colours are very close. I did a couple of light coats and I am happy with the results. There is a little more write up here on them.

X4. This is about the best readily available match.

I just found a can at Ace Hardware but I rarely find it on the shelves anymore. NAPA told me they could get it but I'd have to buy a case.

The NEW 1403 Krylon Dull Aluminum is part of the Metallics line which is not quite the same as the original 1403 that was available 7 years ago when I started. I haven't tried myself but someone else told me if you spray it with a flat clear it's a better match.
