Are the '61-63 F85 trunk latches the same for all three years?
Were these the same trunk latches that were used on the '61-63 Tempests and Buick Specials? I really need the vacuum trunk actuator that attaches to the trunk latch for my '63 F85 and I have seen these units on ebay for the '63 Olds full-size or for the '64-67 Cutlass. A picture of this unit as attached to the '63 F85 would REALLY be helpful. I have the '63 assembly manual which doesn't help that much. Thanks.

 

Find a 1963 Oldsmobile parts book, and look up the part number to see if it is the same across the entire line of Olds. The part could be the same for the other GM brands, but each division used their own part numbers, and it is difficult to cross them to each other. Back then, there was a cross over parts book, but they are extremely rare today.
