'55 front wheel hubs

I found a few companies that sell brake drums for my 1955 olds S88 4dr Holiday. Problem is... No one I can find sells the front hubs for my model. I checked Hollander and no interchange is listed. I even asked some of the drum venders if they knew where to go... No help...yet. Anyone out in oldsmobile world have any ideas? Please, please please. I don't need oem, I just need it to fit.
Just so ya' know...my passenger side front wheel bearings had a blow out and I didn't find it until I smelled something burning. The front bearing housing was trashed, the bearing cup was cracked, the washer was mangled and there appears to be a much larger warped and scared front portion of the hub.
I was coming home and felt a little pull, nothing severe. Thought maybe an alignment. Took a turn, heard some funny noise (not funny ha-ha, but funny oh s%*#). Thought front suspension or steering. No obvious issues. Kicked the tires, jumped in, headed home. Got it jacked up and if not for a cottered nut, the wheel probably woulda fell off.

There is no way to save them? Normally it just messes up the races.

John (2blu442) on here has a 55 he is parting out. He is one of the best guys you can buy from. I think it still has the hubs on the front.

55 front wheel hubs

I have a pair that you can have if you can't find any closer to where you live. Would only cost you freight, but that might be considerable since it's so far.

Old cutlass, I don't know if they can be saved. I was hoping for insight on that. I'd save 'em if I could.
Lone, I'll keep you in mind if need be. I'll see what cards I'm holding and then make a play.
Red, thanks, Ill see if i can't get a message to him in the morning.

Redolds, I reached out to 2blue by email. I'll see if he replies.
Lonestar, 2blu is in Oregon according to profile. Texas shipping sounds easier.

I didn't get the email, but yes shipping from Texas should cost less than shipping from Oregon. Besides, Lonestar's purchase price is really good

Although replacement is preferred, a good machine shop may be able to save them by welding and machining. But you can't beat Lonestars' price.

I agree. The generosity of people here are amazing. I got a wild hair up my butt and I may just go whole hog and do a disc conversion. I'll see. Sitting on a fence kinda hurts.

Broke down the broke down

I decided to do a disc conversion. I'm gonna use the Street Rod Garage kit that has everything already in the kit.
Also, upon further inspection, I noticed my spindle was pretty charred up, so I found someone in Connecticut that had a 54 spindle for me.
I'll let everyone know how the conversion went seeing as it seems to be a hot topic at just about any car forum.

Best bet is Desert Valley Auto Parts 800-905-8024
They have a bunch of 55 Olds parts cars and are really helpful
