Hi Guys. I have an 87 442 that I take to cruise nights and shows.. The wheels are starting to show some rust and pitting. Does anyone know where I can get them re chromed? I live in Corning, NY Thanx in advance Ed

 

Your going to have to catch some of the Chrome guys that come around your area doing the larger Car Shows and swap meets.There's plenty that travel through our area but I'm way way south of you. It also might be cheaper to buy some already done and for sale. Good Luck, love those wheels,

 

Um no! I had the same issue with my wheels. No will touch em because of the 2 piece design! They said we cannot get down in the deep crevice or hoop to disc area.

I ended up buying some reproduction super stock chromes with black centers. Car is gone but I still have the repops in my loft in the garage.

88 hurst olds had some for sale in the classifieds.

If you spray them w wd40 during the off season it will stop any corrosion from starting, I waxed mine during the regular season...
