I had this AM/FM stereo updated years ago to modern internals with an aux input. I’m currently building my dashboard and have become aware of the pitting in the chrome housing on the front of the unit. (See attached photos). Aside from removing the face for rechroming, what could be potential options for a quality solution? Not so much interested in reproduction replacements. I’d like maximum performance audio and still retain a factory appearance. Maybe someone has a clean radio face? Thanks much for suggestions.😊
