1966 O.A.I. bumper bezels

Hello All!

Not sure if I'm posting this in the correct forum, but...

I am trying to locate any photos and measurements/dimensions for the 1966 F85/442 Outside Air Induction bezels/scoops that were installed in the bumpers. Would like to possibly fabricate something similar. Has anyone reproduced a set in the past? Plastic? Fiberglass?

Any information would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks and all the best!

There's one for sale on ebay right now.

You could probably get a good bumper shop to cut and reweld the turn signal tabs in the bumper to move them for the scoop inlet.
I good sheetmetal shop could fabricate something that would work just as well as the real thing. Somebody was making repros for awhile I think but I can't find them any more.

Contact me @ pchopesq@aol.com an.d I;ll put you in contact with a guy who has either original or repo units. Do you already have a shroud? I have a shroud and the complete OAI scoops, bezels, battery cable and all related parts to install the system.

I have both OEM (NOS) and repro bezels and NOS ducts. PM your email and I can send some photos. I don't think it is as easy to make them as they appear. Also, you don't need a sheet metal shop to modify the bumper; it is a straightforward process and was outlined in the 6 page instruction set from Olds. I also have a good used bumper from one of the numbered factory 66 cars and also the special parking lights. I found all this stuff quite interesting "back in the day" and have retained an interest in the 66s ever since.
