1966 Cutlass / 442 side trim color
Hello everyone.
Would anyone happen to know the correct side panel insert trim color (as pictured) ?
I am thinking that it is argent silver, but i am definately not positive.
Any assistance (including brand / part # ) would be most appreciated.
Thanks,
Dave

Dave I had my Stainless polished by a Local guy.Gordon Duda.
Rochester Michigan.
I then masked them off for my Powder Coater and hit them with Bengal Silver.
They look like the brushed Stainless that was on the car originally.

Ill send some pictures when I get home.

Thanks Ron.
I spoke to Mike earlier and he advised that Krylon "dull aluminum" would be the best match.
Fortunately, I only had to re-shoot the PS rear QP piece so I took a shot with the "Argent Silver" . It seems to be pretty close however, I didn't prime it first so needless to say, I am going to strip it down and start over the right way.
From there, I will do a little experimenting but i'm sure in the end, I will defer to you and Mike's vast knowledge of these cars going forward.
Thanks again,
David
